Thank you for your interest in The Matan Institute, which will be held at The Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest in Whippany, NJ. Submitting this application demonstrates your commitment to addressing the needs of diverse learners in your school and synagogue community - a commitment that is to be commended!
 
This opportunity has been heavily subsidized by The Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest, and the cost to participants is just $500 per person. As part of the application process, we ask that you complete a questionnaire that will give us a better understanding of the landscape of your school/synagogue with regard to inclusion. Please e-mail Meredith@matankids.org with any questions.
 
By submitting this application, you agree to:
- Attend a 2 day Institute on September 18-19, 2016 and a subsequent 3 days on January 23, 2017 and April 30-May 1, 2017.
- Construct at least one hour-long professional development session on special needs upon completion of the Institute each year, to be implemented at your congregational school/institution. 
- Engage in 3 webinars with Matan professional staff and the other educators in this cohort.
- Be assigned a Matan mentor who will be available for 10 hours of consultation (per school) on a specific inclusion goal, to be determined in partnership with your mentor during the first 2 days of the Institute.
