Rachel Wood

Rachel Wood, MAT, CCC, SLP is a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist with post-graduate courses in learning styles and child development. Her work experience includes working in public schools, private practice and in the not-for-profit sector. She has been an administrator in a variety of early intervention programs/settings for over 20 years, the Inclusion Specialist and B’nai Mitzvah tutor at Congregation Etz Chaim in Lombard, IL. Rachel has been teaching at Congregation Etz Chaim for 37 years and training the B’nai Mitzvah students for almost 30 years. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Western Michigan University and my Masters at Indiana University. Although not originally from Illinois, Rachel has lived here for most of the past 44 years with her husband, David. They are the proud parents of three daughters and five granddaughters.
